Mark Gerenger has been involved with the construction of numerous building types and has worked on projects ranging in size from less than a million to the $17 million dollar range. He has successfully completed single and multi-story structures, performed complete gutting, rehabilitation and renovations to existing facilities as well as new construction.

Gerenger started his development career in the enterprise zones of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Buying and developing multi unit apartment buildings through the utilization of “city- block grant” and “Section 8” housing funds. While being able to handle construction and development of projects, the company’s portfolio expanded up to 50 buildings in the Philadelphia area. After several years of working and running the apartment buildings he transitioned into purchasing a construction company in the Upstate New York area. The company handled road projects for the entire state of New York through a bid process and soon the company’s revenue exceeded 5 million dollars per year.

Gerenger later sold the construction company and relocated to Central Florida where he turned his sites to developing several 50,000 square foot office buildings and his first 90,000 square foot medical building. During the construction process, Gerenger befriended Tim Cook, CEO of Osceola Regional Hospital for HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) and through several meetings and board approval, Gerenger was named a preferred developer for the State of Florida. Gerenger has completed over 500,000 square feet of on-campus medical projects and currently has over $200M in current development projects and assets under management for GNP Development Partners.
